Pon XXL is a purely mineral plant substrate with high strength, ideal for large plants in big pots. It can be used as potting soil, drainage layer or decorative top layer.
Strong stability for large plants
This purely mineral substrate is suitable for permanent planting both indoors and outdoors. Its extra coarse grain ensures excellent stability for large plants and is optimally suited for use in large containers. The coarse structure also provides optimal root aeration and high drainage capacity. This helps prevent waterlogging and reduces the risk of root rot.
Peat-free composition
Because PON XXL is a purely mineral substrate, it is completely peat-free. After repotting, plants receive sufficient nutrients for 6–8 months thanks to the slow-release fertilizer content. The coarse grain size ensures lasting stability for large plants and prevents compaction. Suitable for both houseplants and outdoor plants.
Ingredients and notes
Mineral rocks (pumice, lava) and coarse-grained zeolite, slow-release fertilizer (especially suitable for houseplants). Also suitable for edible plants.
Fertilizer recommendation
Around half a year after repotting, the fertilizer in the substrate is used up. PERFECT LEAF long-term and liquid fertilizers provide sufficient nutrients for green plants.
